P022 A correlation of serum Fibroblast Growth Factor 21 level with inflammatory markers and indicators of nutritional status in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Abstract Background Fibroblast Growth Factor 21 (FGF21) is an endocrine hormone produced mostly in the liver, adipose tissue, and pancreas. Main inducers of FGF21 secretion include fasting state, overfeeding, inflammation, physical activity. involved metabolism lipids, carbohydrates, proteins. It also participates body weight regulation. Previous studies have shown that serum level increased animal model colitis patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) (Liu et al. Gastroenterol Res Pract 2017). The aim this study was to assess correlation between inflammatory markers as well indicators nutritional status IBD patients.
